Professional gamblers always need an edge. It is the defining principle between gambling and *air quotes* gambling *air quotes*. I have come to find my edge in college sports and women’s basketball. Let me stop you before you ask. Yes, I said women’s basketball. It is the sport of champions, if you love making money. I’m a feminist, what can I say.

I have been gambling the past 13 years. I have bet on it all. From Taiwanese basketball to Australian rugby. Mind you, I know very little about the basketball leagues in Taiwan and absolutely nothing about rugby in general. I have been profitable betting these sports due to the same way I have been profitable with women’s basketball; I look for trends.

Every little bit of info helps when locating profitable trends. The more you know (about the sport), the easier it is to pinpoint. After years of trend-searching, I have come to find that WNBA, CFB and CBB tend to lead to the highest profit.  The lack of information/interest on smaller colleges and the WNBA helps add to profitable lines. 

There will be a good amount of halftime plays for college sports. We will bet heavy when needed. Most plays will range from 3 to 8 units. You will rarely see many bets above 10 units. They do happen, but only 4 or 5 times a year. We are going to take losses along the way. The key is to keep the win percentage above 76% with the profit margin hovering at +$.60 per $1 risked. 

Expect a mix of posts with just the bet and others with a full analysis. The beginning will probably be less analysis and we will build on more of the analysis posts along the way.
